Car Safety Seats: A Guide for School aged children booster seats
Booster seats are for older children who have outgrown their forward-in front of car safety seats. It is best for children to ride in a harnessed seat as long as feasible, at least to 4 years of age. If your child outgrows his seat before reaching 4 years of age, consider using a seat with a harness accepted for higher weights and heights. A child has outgrown his forward-in front of seat when any one of the follow is true:
- He reaches the top weight or height acceptable for his seat with a harness. (These restrictions are listed on the seat and also included in the instruction booklet.)
- His shoulders are above the top harness slots.
- His ears have reached the top of the seat.
Booster seats are designed to raise the child up so that the lap and shoulder seat belts fit correctly. High-back and backless booster seats are presented. They do not come with harness straps but are used with the lap and shoulder seat belts in your vehicle, the same way an adult rides. Booster seats should be used until your child can correctly fit in lap and shoulder seat belts. Booster seats usually include a plastic clip or guide to help ensure the correct use of the vehicle lap and shoulder belts. China rolls exposed 89 fresh models in six months - that's one each two days
We've been hearing Chinese officials say for fairly some time now that there are far too many automakers in the kingdom for a healthy market in the long-term, but we didn't understand until today just how out-of-hand it may be. According to state-run Chinese information agency Xinhua, China has seen an unprecedented 89 new vehicle launches so far this year.
That's definitely a huge number, but it doesn't truly hit home until you consider that 89 vehicles in the first half of 2009 averages out to a new or a lot revised vehicle appearing in China once every two days. Of those new designs, 73 were cars, nine were SUVs, six were MPVs and – in difference to typical American vehicle launches over the same time – only one was a crossover.
